Masiphumelele is an impoverished township in the beautiful Noordhoek valley, a few kilometers from Leap’s office. Over 80 000 people, many of them struggling to make ends meet, live in this vibrant multi-cultural community.

Nestled in the centre of “Masi” is Kiddies Corner Creche (Elisabeth Yoliswa home for Children) which cares for between 35 and 70 children at any given time. Parents who can, pay a nominal monthly creche fee. But it’s simply not enough to provide the children with adequate care and a daily meal. We help where we can by sourcing and donating teaching and related resources, feeding the children every Friday, providing maintenance support and contributing to their annual graduation party.
